When Alex and Jacob first shared their wedding plans with me I was over the moon. Jacob’s family owns a ton of land in Mooresville, NC and they decided it would be so special to get married on their families property. They worked over a year to prepare the field where they were going to commit their lives to each other.
When I arrived to the house where the girls were getting ready, I knew it was going to be a good day. Everyone was laid back, listening to music and getting ready. When it was time for Alex’s mom to help Alex get into her wedding dress, the waterworks began. It was such a sweet moment!
Once Alex started walking down the isle, Jacob’s reaction was priceless. I started tearing up behind my lens along with half the guests. Their ceremony was filled with so much joy and laughter, I can’t tell you how many times everyone was laughing along with Alex and Jacob.
One thing that I loved about their wedding details was that they practically did everything themselves. Preparing the location, the arbor at the ceremony, all the reception details You never know what to expect with the guests when it comes to dancing at the reception. But let me tell you, EVERYONE was dancing during the reception. I was standing on top of chairs to get dancing shots because the floor was packed!
